S\u00e3o Paulo, July 2023<\/strong> \u2013 With its paradisiacal destinations and travel options for all ages, the Northeast is today the main tourist destination in the country. The nine states that make up the region were responsible, in 2022, for almost 40% of passenger boardings in the country, according to data from the Yearbook of the Brazilian Association of Tour Operators (Braztoa) 2023.<\/p>\n

Faced with the large flow of travelers, accommodation facilities in the Northeast seek speed and efficiency when replenishing their stocks of amenities, food products and other needs related to the best reception of their guests. And, to meet this demand, Harus, a specialist in hospitality solutions, has just opened a new distributor in the region.<\/p>\n

Located in Parnamirim, in Rio Grande do Norte, the new unit brings the company closer to its customers in this market, which is currently expanding, in addition to expanding service to neighboring states. Last year, the state received 1.1 million visitors, 25% above that recorded in 2021.<\/p>\n

This will be the fifth distributor in the Northeast of Harus, which also has units in Fortaleza (CE), S\u00e3o Lu\u00eds (MA), Porto Seguro (BA), Recife (PE), as well as a distribution center in Macei\u00f3, to also serve the Northern Region.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis decentralized logistics optimizes the delivery of inputs and ends up reducing shipping costs, since all products leave the same place and from a strategic location\u201d, says Luiz Roberto Magrin Filho, general director of Harus.<\/p>\n

The network allows customers to be served within 48 to 72 hours, thanks to the scheduled storage of goods. \u201cWe analyze the demand in each region to know exactly what to stock at each distributor. This way, we always have what our customers need close to them\u201d, he says.<\/p>\n

Founded 27 years ago, the company offers products to meet the most demanding customers \u2013 in any segment. Its portfolio includes its own lines and recognized brands, such as L'Occitane, Costa Brazil, O Botic\u00e1rio, Vinotage and Davene, personalized items and exclusive fragrances, as well as vegan products.<\/p>\n

With the Harus Food unit, the company currently offers a mix of hundreds of food products, in partnership with recognized brands. Among the partners are J\u00fanior Alimentos, Poletto, Cep\u00eara, Hemmer, Heinz, Homemade, Isis Mel, Bauducco, Le Petit, A\u00e7\u00facar Caravelas, Low\u00e7ucar, Vigor, President, Sabor da Nata, Itamb\u00e9, Polenguinho, Pingo de Leite and Billa.<\/p>\n

The company also has partnerships with the brands Fio a Fio Enxovais, Probel (beds and mattresses), B\u00e1sico Aroma (fragrance products), Panther and Friope\u00e7as (electronic equipment), and HTL360\u00b0 (infrastructure items).<\/p>\n

In addition to the distributors in the Northeast, Harus has units in Franca (SP), Bras\u00edlia (DF), Caldas Novas and Goi\u00e2nia (GO). Currently, its products are supplied to more than 16 thousand customers in Brazil and in countries such as Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay, the United States, among others.<\/p>\n
