Harus, a leading brand in the national amenities market, and Costa Brazil, founded in New York by Brazilian designer Francisco Costa, signed a partnership to bring to the sector a range of products formulated with Amazonian ingredients.

Initially developed exclusively for the Hotel Fasano — which continues to feature exclusive packaging — the line is now available to other luxury accommodation facilities in Brazil and abroad. It was developed with the exclusive Jungle Complex™, which brings together Amazonian nutrients rich in Kaya (antioxidant moisturizer that improves skin firmness), Cacay (antioxidant that accelerates cell renewal and improves skin vitality) and Breu (aromatic resin from the Amazon which has been used for centuries to purify the body and the environment).

The complex of assets was developed by Costa after working with a team of local scientists and farmers to combine modern, advanced technologies with the nourishing powers of the natural world. The formulation is vegan, free from animal cruelty and contains pure, potent, nutritious ingredients and sustainably sourced from the Amazon region.

The line includes shampoo, conditioner, liquid soap and body lotion, available in 70ml and 450ml bottles, as well as bar soap, in 30g and 50g versions. All packaging is sustainable, with a volume larger than the market average to offer, in addition to a high-value-added product, savings to accommodation facilities.

“Costa Brazil presents the Brazilian essence through a unique sensorial and olfactory experience. The elegance of the minimalist design of its packaging is reflected in the line of amenities, establishing an immediate connection with the exotic and engaging fragrance of the products”, says Camila Farnezi, director of Amyris Clean Beauty LATAM, owner of the Costa Brazil brand and others, such as Biossance and Rose Inc.

According to her, the collaboration with Harus was fundamental for the development of high-quality amenities, establishing a unique space in the hospitality sector. “We aspire to quality, a safe and effective formulation, in addition to seeking operational capacity for production on a scale that keeps up with the rapid growth in our demand. Harus has been an exemplary industrial and commercial partner, guaranteeing us success in our continued expansion in the amenities market”, highlights Farnezi.

“It is a pleasure to enable Costa Brazil to enter the luxury amenities market. This partnership strengthens our commitment to bringing sustainable, high-quality products to add value to the hospitality sector. Thus, we offer accommodation facilities, and also their guests, the best of well-being with minimal environmental impact”, observes Luiz Roberto Magrin Filho, general director of Harus.

About Harus
Harus, a leading brand in the Brazilian amenities market, is present in all hospitality segments with its diverse line of personalized products and private brands, including Alma Brasil.
