Company sees high demand for hygiene solution in hospitality, developed in partnership with disinfection specialist with over 20 years of experience
São Paulo, November 2023 – Harus, a leading brand in the Brazilian amenities market, is doubling down on its latest solution for the hospitality sector: Harus HQS (Hygiene, Quality and Safety), which offers establishments a complete hygiene protocol. According to the company, the demand for the line in its first months after launch justifies an increase in investments in the area.
To support these efforts, the company announces the hiring of Carla Guerra, a professional with more than two decades of experience in disinfection and hygiene in hospitality, as a technical consultant. In addition to contributing to the structuring of the process since the conception of Harus HQS, Carla will also provide training to the teams at the accommodation facilities that hire the solution.
“Since we started the partnership, Carla Guerra has added a lot of value to Harus' activities, because she came from the market and updated us on the pains and needs of hospitality when it comes to hygiene. We also share values related to good environmental practices, so it makes a lot of sense to have her officially on our team, participating in the development of new solutions”, says Luiz Roberto Magrin Filho, general director of Harus.
Harus HQS aims to make operations efficient, safe and environmentally friendly. The process consists of a hygiene plan, chemicals, equipment and technical assistance, all provided by Harus to optimize the routine of hospitality managers.
“While providing consultancy, I noticed that the market still did not have sustainable and safe solutions for cleaning environments. When I learned that Harus was also concerned about this and already had biosafety actions in place, it made sense to join forces to fill this gap. We started with a line of amenities, moved on to a line of sanitizing products and now we have a complete disinfection process”, says Carla Guerra.
The first stage includes identifying demands and indicating the sanitizers, procedures and equipment needed to clean that establishment. This phase is prepared by the brand's technical consultant, who also provides safety protocols, special care and actions in case of non-compliance.
The chemicals are from the Harus by Carla Guerra line, which has 21 sustainable and efficient sanitizers for cooking, housekeeping and general cleaning. Produced in Becker Industries factories, they are biodegradable and have a low foam content, reducing water consumption. Furthermore, they are manufactured following good environmental and biosafety practices.
The equipment comes from Tron, which has diluters and dosers, essential for the correct use of chemicals, and Perfect Pro, whose portfolio has solutions for cleaning weights and surfaces, waste management and transport of materials.
Finally, establishments that adhere to the Harus HQS process will be entitled to complete technical assistance, responding to specific occurrences and periodic assistance, in addition to training provided by Carla Guerra, not only aimed at the correct use of products to ensure the safety of employees and customers. , but also the appropriate management of resources in order to avoid waste.
