Harus presents new partnerships and sustainable solutions at Equipotel 2023

Leader in the national amenities market, the company will announce an unprecedented partnership during the fair, in addition to presenting new products that serve all hospitality segments

São Paulo, September 2023 – Harus, national leader in the amenities market, opens its stand at Equipotel this Tuesday (19) with a special theme: sustainability. At its green stand, the company will present a range of environmentally friendly innovations and new partnerships, in addition to the brand's already well-known best-selling lines.

“Attention to sustainability, within the company and for the entire chain, is a fundamental part of Harus’ DNA and currently guides our main investment decisions. Today, the vast majority of our products are sustainable, both in terms of formulation and packaging. Therefore, it seemed like a natural choice to place the theme at the center of our presence at Equipotel, an essential event for our market”, says the general director of Harus, Luiz Roberto Magrin Filho.

The fair, held at Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo, until the 22nd, is the biggest event in the hospitality sector in Latin America. “Equipotel is an opportunity to connect with partners and customers, in addition to making new contacts”, adds Magrin Filho, who predicts, with the fair's momentum, an increase of 20% in Harus' revenue this year.

In a large space, the company will present, for the first time, the new Vegan Plus Dispenser. The line combines packaging and product to deliver a solution in perfect harmony with the environment. The novelty provides a reduction of 96% in the use of plastics through an exclusive sachet made of certified vegetable paper. Replacements preserve the original support, requiring only the sachet to be replaced.

Certified paper is a material produced within standards that guarantee the minimum possible environmental impact, through the use of areas planted and managed exclusively for its manufacture – thus avoiding damage to local biodiversity. Furthermore, dispensers generate product and cost savings.

Inside each sachet, Harus offers shampoo, conditioner, liquid soap and moisturizing lotion – 100% natural and free from animal products. The products' soft formula is accompanied by a luxurious and calming fragrance, which combines lavender and mint, providing a feeling of relaxation and well-being.

At the company's stand, it will also be possible to discover the brand's Vegan Line products. “The demand for dispensers, sachets and vegan products marks a major change in the market. Sachets, for example, currently represent 60% of the amenities sold”, says the general director of Harus.

New partnerships
Founded 27 years ago, the company offers products to meet the most demanding customers – in any segment. To achieve this, it has partnerships with brands recognized by the market. And Equipotel's audience will be able to see first-hand the main news of these collaborations.

In its newest partnership, the company joins the prestigious beauty services network Jacques Janine to present a line of products with a French soul and Brazilian DNA, the Hotel Collection.

“This collaboration was motivated by a vision of market expansion that takes advantage of the expertise and synergy between the companies. Jacques Janine is a reference in high-quality beauty services and products and Harus, a leader in amenities. Together, we seek to provide the hotel market with first-rate products that reflect our standards of excellence”, says Halim Aidar Neto, president of BR Cosmetic, responsible for the brand.

Accommodation facilities will have access to shampoo, conditioner, mask, body lotion, liquid soap and bath salts from Jacques Janine.

“The product selection process was meticulous, always guided by the objective of providing a luxurious experience for guests. We achieved a result of exceptional quality, attractive packaging and complete adaptation to the hotel environment, always within Jacques Janine's standards of excellence”, says Aidar Neto.

From the successful collaboration with L'Occitane au Brésil, products from the new Capim Limão Alfazema line will be available. The items combine the freshness of Capim Limão with the unmistakable and aromatic fragrance of Alfazema to transport guests to a rustic and cozy environment.

During the fair, Harus will also announce, first hand, its first partnership for the production of items aimed at children's audience – with a widely known brand, over generations.

At the stand, visitors to the fair will also be able to see the line produced in partnership with Costa Brazil, a brand founded in New York by Brazilian designer Francisco Costa. Combining sophistication and sustainability, it was initially developed exclusively for the Hotel Fasano. Now, it is now available to other luxury accommodation facilities in Brazil and abroad.

Items that carry the brand Boticário also bring news. Now, guests will have access to the Nativa Spa Quinoa and Cuide-se Bem Nuvem lines also in dispensers, combining sustainability and savings with product excellence.

Harus also brings lines to the event in collaboration with Davene, a national company with 46 years of history, and with Vinotage, produced in agreement with Casa Valduga.

Cleaning
Harus's news, however, is not limited exclusively to amenities. The company also presents to the Equipotel public another solution to make the operations of accommodation facilities efficient and environmentally friendly: the process Harus HQS (Hygiene, Quality and Safety). With 21 sustainable sanitizers for cooking, housekeeping and general cleaning, the line offers establishments a complete protocol in the area.

The entire plan was developed by Carla Guerra, a specialist in disinfection and hygiene in the hospitality sector. With more than 20 years of experience as a consultant and environmental manager, she worked on developing protocols against Covid-19 in the hotel chain across the country. Today, she is an ambassador for Harus, with the aim of developing sustainable and safe solutions for the sector.

The line offers a complete hygiene and biosafety solution, providing not only the sanitizers, but also the supplies necessary for cleaning, such as PPE, diluters, dosers and others.

The cleaning products launched are now part of the line Harus by Carla Guerra and are manufactured following good environmental and biosafety practices. They are biodegradable, have high yield and are produced in Becker Industries factories powered by solar energy.

Diverse offer
In addition to the amenities and latest launches, the stand will present other products distributed by the company to the fair's public. “We realized, a few years ago, the need to offer our customers a complete experience, so that accommodation providers can find everything they need in one place: Harus”, he says.

With this in mind, the company also has the unit Harus Food, which currently offers a mix of hundreds of food products, in partnership with recognized brands. Among the partners are Júnior Alimentos, Poletto, Cepêra, Hemmer, Heinz, Homemade, Isis Mel, Bauducco, Le Petit, Açúcar Caravelas, Lowçucar, Vigor, President, Sabor da Nata, Itambé, Polenguinho, Pingo de Leite and Billa.

The company also has partnerships with brands Thread by Thread Layettes, Probel (beds and mattresses), Basic Aroma (flavoring), Panther and Friopeças (electronic equipment), and HTL360° (infrastructure items).

Harus currently has more than 16,000 active customers, served in Brazil and Latin America, as well as countries such as the United States and Israel. Headquartered in Franca (SP), it has distributors in Fortaleza (CE), São Luís (MA), Porto Seguro (BA), Recife (PE), Parnamirim (RN), Brasília (DF), Caldas Novas, Goiânia (GO) and Montevideo (UY), in addition to a distribution center in Maceió (AL) and a branch in Assunção, Paraguay.
