This semester, the South American amenities leader will be at fairs and meetings across the country and also in Paraguay; general director sees increase in international participation
São Paulo, August 2023 – South American leader in the production and distribution of hospitality amenities, Harus started the second half of the year at full steam. The period is known in the sector for the concentration of fairs and events that, for the company, generate great contacts and new business. These participations will contribute to another year of growth in the company's revenue, which is expected to surpass the gains obtained in 2022 in 201TP3Q.
At the beginning of August, Harus was at Encatho & Exprotel, the most prominent hotel and tourism event in the south of the country. And, from now on, the company will be face to face with its customers and partners monthly, at national and international events.
In Brazil, the program starts at Equipotel, a national reference for the market, which takes place in São Paulo between the 19th and 22nd of September. With the largest stand at the fair (600 square meters), the company will show first-hand the latest additions to its portfolio, in addition to the brand's well-known best-selling lines.
In November, the company turns its attention to the Northeast, being present at HFN (Hotel & Food Nordeste), between the 8th and 10th, at the Pernambuco Convention Center, in Recife.
Harus executives and portfolio will also be present at fairs abroad. Later this month, the company will arrive at Expo Hotel Uruguay 2023, held from August 30th to September 1st, in Montevideo. In October, the destination is Asunción, Paraguay, to connect with contacts from the country and across the South American continent at the eighth edition of the Paraguay Expo Hotel. The biggest hotel event in the country will take place on October 20th.
“Today we have around 16 thousand active customers, served in Brazil and Latin America, as well as countries such as the United States and Israel. Our presence on the continent expands every year, and we now see new opportunities, with the most recent launches from Harus”, says the company's general director, Luiz Roberto Magrin Filho.
Announced last month, the line produced in partnership with Costa Brazil, a brand founded in New York by Brazilian designer Francisco Costa, is one of these chances to open new markets. Combining sophistication and sustainability, it was initially developed exclusively for the Hotel Fasano. Now, it is now available to other luxury accommodation facilities in Brazil and abroad.
According to Magrin Filho, the events serve to further strengthen the company's relationships in the sector, and continue to contribute to the increase in Harus' sales. “In addition, these occasions allow new and old customers to have close contact with our product line – which always helps to close deals, as we have different items.”
Founded 27 years ago, the company offers products to meet the most demanding customers – in any segment. Its catalog includes its own lines and recognized brands, such as L'Occitane, O Boticário, Vinotage and Davene, personalized items and exclusive fragrances, as well as vegan products.
“We realized, a few years ago, the need to offer our customers a complete experience, so that accommodation providers can find everything they need in one place: Harus”, says Magrin Filho.
With this in mind, the company also has the Harus Food unit, which currently offers a mix of hundreds of food products, in partnership with recognized brands. Among the partners are Júnior Alimentos, Poletto, Cepêra, Hemmer, Heinz, Homemade, Isis Mel, Bauducco, Le Petit, Açúcar Caravelas, Lowçucar, Vigor, President, Sabor da Nata, Itambé, Polenguinho, Pingo de Leite and Billa.
The company also has partnerships with the brands Fio a Fio Enxovais, Probel (beds and mattresses), Básico Aroma (fragrance products), Panther and Friopeças (electronic equipment), and HTL360° (infrastructure items).
The company has distributors in Franca (SP), Fortaleza (CE), São Luís (MA), Porto Seguro (BA), Recife (PE), Parnamirim (RN), Brasília (DF), Caldas Novas and Goiânia (GO), a distribution center in Maceió – to serve the North and Northeast regions – and a branch in Assunção, Paraguay.
