Present throughout the hospitality sector, Harus celebrates 26 years with an eye on the future

The company, which is a national leader in the amenities segment, is betting on investment in innovation and the potential of the Brazilian market to continue expanding its operations in the coming years

São Paulo, April 2022 – The year has begun and, with it, come new plans to travel. From long vacations to weekend getaways, from business trips to family reunions, there is no shortage of reasons to take advantage of the variety of options that Brazilian tourism offers. Diversity does not end at format or destination; The hospitality sector also offers numerous accommodation options, to suit all tastes and budgets. And, whatever the choice, there is always one certainty: Harus amenities, an essential part of the guest experience, will be there.

The company, which turns 26 years old this month, offers products to serve the most demanding customers – in any segment. Its portfolio includes its own lines and recognized brands, such as L'Occitane, Costa Brazil, O Boticário, Vinotage and KUR Cosméticos, personalized items and exclusive fragrances.

Its recognition in the market and diversity of products are reflected in the results. The company is a leader in the national amenities market and foresees sustained growth in its operations in the coming years. This expansion will be supported, according to the company's general director, Luiz Roberto Magrin Filho, on three pillars: investments in innovation and logistics, personalized service and the strength of hospitality in Brazil.

Harus has been investing in research and development to keep its item offering always up to date and in line with what the market expects. “And today, in addition to excellent products and constant innovations, our customers demand actions that contribute to a more sustainable operation of the entire sector.”

As part of these efforts, Harus has renewed its own line of products, now all 100% biodegradable, and has gradually replaced plastic packaging for soaps and accessories with biodegradable paper. The bottles, in turn, are produced with recycled PET or polyethylene with the Green Plastic seal. The company also launched its first vegan 100% line and has been expanding the use of dispensers (which reduce packaging disposal) in its portfolio.

Last year, Harus opened a modern factory in Franca (SP), in addition to new distributors around the country to follow. All this to offer the best logistics and delivery time on the market. These advantages are added to the personalized service, which contributes to the lasting relationships built by the company with its customers over almost three decades.

It is the progress of these relationships and the full resumption of Brazilian tourism activities, including business fairs and in-person conferences, that Magrin believes will be factors to boost Harus' activities from now on.

“The last two years have presented intense difficulties for the Brazilian hospitality sector, but they have also made clear our resilience. We adapted and took advantage of the opportunities given to national tourism by the closure of borders and new travel models. Now, I believe in maintaining and expanding these efforts, taking the market to another level”, he states. “We, at Harus, consider ourselves part of this movement and will be alongside our partners in this new moment.”

Today, Harus has more than 10 thousand customers, served in Brazil and also in countries such as Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay, among others. The company has distributors in Franca, Fortaleza, São Luís, Porto Seguro, Recife, Brasília, Caldas Novas and Goiânia, a distribution center in Maceió – to serve the North and Northeast regions – and a branch in Assunção, Paraguay.

In addition to its own amenities and those developed exclusively for hotel chains, it also offers items in the accessories, electronics, bed and bath segments. With the Harus Food unit, the company has been supplying food products, developed in partnership with recognized brands, including Júnior Alimentos, Le Petit, Homemade, Ísis, Bauducco and Vigor.
