Leader in the national amenities market, the company participated in Easy Conecta, the first hotel and tourism fair dedicated to the North; today, the region accounts for 15% of its revenue
São Paulo, February 2023 – The potential for growth in tourism in the North of the country, stimulated by the search for ecotourism by national and international travelers, in addition to an increase in business trips to the region, caught Harus's attention. National leader in the amenities market, the company based in Franca (SP) participated this week in Easy Conecta, the first hotel and tourism fair dedicated to this market.
Over the two days of the event, which ends this Tuesday (14) at the Golden Plaza Hotel, in Porto Velho, Harus presented to the hotel industry in the North of Brazil the latest additions to its portfolio, as well as the well-known best-selling lines from brand. Furthermore, the company also acted as a sponsor of the first edition of the fair – organized by Easy Hotéis and the state government of Rondônia.
“We have a very significant presence in the region, given its importance in Harus’ revenue and its growth potential”, says Luiz Roberto Magrin Filho, general director of the company, who was at Easy Conecta.
Today, according to him, the Northern states represent around 15% of Harus' revenue. In the next four years, the expectation is that this percentage will reach 25%.
“I thought the fair initiative was fantastic, because due attention is still not given to the North Region and its potential to attract tourists”, he states. He highlights among the destinations the states of Pará, Amazonas, Rondônia and Acre. “If we consider the growth of these four states in the last five years, it is much higher than the rates recorded in the Southeast and Northeast of the country.”
